What to bring
- Bring a valid ID for the experience.
What's not allowed
- Loose items such as phones, cameras, and Go-Pros are not allowed on the experience. Guests will be provided free lockers to store their belongings in.
- Children under 12 and guests above 136kg are not allowed to participate in this experience.
Accessibility
- Guests will need a doctor-signed medical clearance form if they’re pregnant up to 20 weeks (21+ weeks not permitted), aged 75 or over, or have any heart or cardiovascular condition (including blood pressure), respiratory condition, back, limb or joint injury, visual or learning impairment, epilepsy, sleep, kidney, neurological, or acute gastrointestinal condition, or any other health issue that could affect your ability to complete the climb independently.
- Guests with a life-threatening or debilitating allergy must bring a doctor-signed action plan and an EpiPen. Both must be provided at check-in; otherwise, guests will not be permitted to climb. The EpiPen will be carried by the Climb Leader during the climb.
- Guests with diabetes must check their blood glucose level within 15 minutes of the climb. Readings must be between 6 and 15 mmol/dL. Test kits are available at check-in, but guests are encouraged to bring their own. Guests may also bring a glucose supplement, which the Climb Leader will hold until needed.
Additional information
- Facilities: Lockers, parking.
- At check-in for the climb, guests must record a blood alcohol level below 0.05%. They’ll also be required to sign a declaration confirming this.
- Children aged 12–15 years and over 130 cm tall may climb when accompanied by a full-paying adult (18+), with a maximum of two children per supervising adult.
- Guests wearing spectacles or sunglasses will be provided a special lanyard to ensure your glasses remain attached to you at all times.
- These tickets can't be cancelled or rescheduled.

The full experience takes around 90 minutes, including check-in, safety briefing, gear-up, and the guided climb.
What is the minimum age for SkyPoint Climb?

Is the SkyPoint Climb safe?
Yes. You’re attached to a secure safety rail system at all times and guided by trained climb leaders. All equipment and procedures meet strict safety standards.
Can I do the climb if I’m afraid of heights?
Many first-time climbers with a fear of heights complete the experience comfortably. The gradual ascent, secure harness, and guided support help make it manageable.
What should I wear for the climb?
Wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes (like sneakers). Climb suits and safety gear are provided. Loose items, including phones and cameras, are not allowed on the climb.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Climbs operate in most weather conditions, including light rain. However, severe weather (like storms or high winds) may lead to rescheduling or refunds.
Where does the SkyPoint Climb start?
All climbs depart from Mission Control at the base of the Q1 building on Surfers Paradise Boulevard. Arrive early for check-in.
Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
Policies vary by ticket provider, but most allow rescheduling with advance notice. Check your ticket terms at the time of booking for exact details.

The Skypoint Observation Deck is a must visit attraction when you're in Gold Coast. The views from up there are truly mesmerising. Being the only beach side observation in Australia, it truly sets a world class standard for tourism. I've loved every bit of my experience with Skypoint. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There is a cafe at the top if you want to soak in the sights with a cup of coffee. I 100% recommend this place.

Morning well spent! The staff were friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Great site seeing spots. The highlight for the kids was driving the boat!! Highly recommend if your in the surfers area.

Dreamworld QLD was honestly AMAZING! From the moment we walked in the vibe was fun and exciting, and there was so much to do that we easily spent the whole day there. The rides were unreal — a perfect mix of adrenaline and classic theme park fun — and the park was clean, well set out and easy to get around. The staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was great, and it just felt like such a good day out with non-stop laughs. If you’re on the Gold Coast and want a proper theme park experience, Dreamworld is 100% worth it — I’d go back again in a heartbeat! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Booking through Headout was really easy and smooth. Entry to the park was quick and there were no issues with the tickets. The rides were very exciting, especially DC Rivals, which was my favourite. Amazing time on this ride. Driver was friendly and guide was funny and friendly. We loved the smooth ride and sailing. Wonderful experience for my 2yr old baby as it was her 1st time in water on a boat. We all loved it . It's a must try experience.
