This ride will take you through see-through slides, making you freefall into a pool of water, only to propel you further into a pitch-black slide, taking you spinning and twisting towards the end of the ride.

The Black Hole is exactly what it sounds like – a never-ending slide filled with dark turns, pitch-black sections where you’ll be gasping for breath, and a small section of light before you’re sucked into the darkness again!

Kamikaze slide at Wet’n’Wild Waterpark, Gold Coast

Height and age restrictions: Min. 110 cm

This ride will take you through a series of high rises, going up all the way to 11 metres, and bring you back down. Your raft will rock back and forth for a solid 30 seconds, after which the raft will slowly come to a halt.

The Tornado is not for the faint of heart, or the motion sick! Get thrown into a literal spinning tunnel as you splash into the water, rotate, freefall, and slide through the bigger and scarier version of the Kamikaze slide!

Height and age restrictions: at least 120 cm

This is the perfect ride for a group of 8 friends! Each rider will start at the same time, plunging down this slide at speeds of 80 kph. This ride’s unique lighting and sensor system make it impossible to cheat, and if you even try, your scoreboard will display a big, fat zero.

  • Opening hours: Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast is open from 10am to 5pm daily and is closed only on Christmas Day on December 25, and ANZAC Day on April 25.
  • Best time to visit: For the best experience at Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast, we'd recommend planning your visit during the shoulder seasons (March-May and September-November) and going on weekdays over weekends to avoid large crowds. Aim for early mornings to minimise your wait time.

We’d recommend taking a day to explore Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast. It’s not every day you get to spend time at Australia’s biggest water park, so we’d suggest going all out with the rides and attractions here. If you’re short on time, however, make sure to hit all the top rides before you leave!

  • By bus: You can catch the TX7 bus from Helensvale station, which leaves every 15 minutes, daily from 9am to 11:30am. The journey takes about 10 minutes. 
  • By train: You can take the train to either Helensvale station or Coomera station. From Helensvale, transfer to bus route TX7. From Coomera, there is a dedicated shuttle service that runs to Wet'n'Wild during peak season.
  • By car: Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast has ample parking available on-site for a small fee. If you're driving, the park is located on Pacific Highway, Oxenford. 
  • By taxi: This is a great option if you're travelling with a group or have a lot of luggage. However, it can be more expensive than taking public transportation.

  • Surf Shop: Stock up on your beach essentials at the Surf Shop – find everything from sunscreen, surfboards, beach towels and umbrellas, and much more! 
  • Photo centre: Get your photos taken while you experience all the rides at Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast, and come to the Photo Centre at the end, to collect and view all your photos! Get to take home the physical memories of your time here!

  • Parking: Reserved parking is available for the differently-abled at the first row of the car park. There are ample drop off and pick up ramp spaces for wheelchair users.
  • First aid: The first aid department can store or hold on to any personal medical devices, like a ventilator, or store any medicine that needs to be refrigerated. However, please note that they do not own any equipment of their own apart from the theme-park mandated AED (Automatic Defibrillator). 
  • Lockers: You will find lockers available for hire across the park’s restaurants and shopping outlets. Note that for a large-sized locker, you may be charged anywhere from $12 to $20. 
  • Wheelchair/stroller hire: While the wheelchair hire is complimentary, you’ll have to provide some form of ID. Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast also has an ‘Aquatic Wheelchair’, for accessibility to pool areas such as the Wave pool and Calypso beach. You can book these wheelchairs before your visit, or when you buy your ticket. 
  • Ride accessibility: At Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast, some rides are accessible for wheelchair users. This will be specified at the display board before the ride, or by the Guest Services team during entry.  
  • Bathrooms: Ample accessible bathrooms are situated across the theme park – all with wheelchair access. Contact guest services during your visit for further assistance!

  • Service dogs: While pets are not allowed at Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast, service dogs can accompany guests with disabilities. Note that they will not be allowed on rides with the guest. 
  • Flash photography: No flash photography is allowed in any attraction. Cameras may be confiscated if found violating these rules.
  • Alcohol consumption: You may be restricted to enter or evicted if the park authorities find you intoxicated or high. 
  • Smoking: Smoking, vaping and use of e-cigarettes are permitted in designated smoking areas only. 
  • Inspection of belongings: Staff may demand to check guests’ bags on entry to the park, so make sure you comply with their requests on entry. 
  • Food: Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages stored in plastic or tin containers are permitted inside the park.No alcohol, glassware or commercially prepared food is allowed inside.
