Weekdays vs weekends

Visit on weekdays (especially Tue–Thu) for shorter lines and fewer crowds. Weekends and school holidays are the busiest, so expect longer wait times. Arrive early to make the most of popular rides before it gets crowded.

Best season to visit in

March to May and September to early November are ideal due to pleasant weather and smaller crowds. Avoid mid-December to late January if you can, as it’s peak summer and school break with long queues and hotter days.

• By bus: Take Translink or Surfside buses to the Dreamworld stop at the entrance. Bus TX7 connects Coomera and Helensvale stations and stops at Dreamworld.
• By train: Get off at Coomera Station via G:Link from Brisbane or the Gold Coast, then take bus TX7 to the park.
• By car: Dreamworld is 25 mins from Surfers Paradise, 35 mins from Gold Coast Airport, and 45 mins from Brisbane via major routes.

• Free on‑Site parking: Dreamworld offers a large, free open-air parking area just off Dreamworld Parkway—a convenient and hassle-free option for all guests.
• Accessible parking: Spaces reserved near the entrance in rows A & J are available for guests with a valid mobility permit.
• EV charging stations: Electric vehicle owners can top up their battery while exploring the park—charging stations are nestled within the Dreamworld car park.

• Wheelchair hire & accessible parking: Wheelchairs are available for AU$5—reserve early. Accessible parking is near the entrance (rows A & J).
• Health centre support: Stop by the Health Centre near Sky Voyager for ride advice and support if you have medical or mobility needs.

• Low sensory room: A quiet Low Sensory Room is available at Guest Services for guests needing a break from the crowds.
• Service animals: Assistance dogs are welcome in most areas of the park, except on certain rides and inside wildlife zones.

• Stay safely seated: Every ride comes with high safety standards. Always sit properly, fasten your seatbelt securely, and hold the handlebars at all times 
• Watch your children: The park is large and can get crowded, so keep youngsters close to avoid losing sight of them.
• No outside food: Outside food and drinks aren’t allowed unless you have specific dietary requirements—plenty of dining options are available on-site .
• Smoke only in zones: Smoking is only permitted in clearly marked areas to ensure a clean environment for everyone.
• Eat light before rides: Save heavy meals for after the big thrills—eat lightly before high-adrenaline rides to avoid nausea.
• Check ride restrictions: Some rides have height or health limits—check signs when you arrive, and let Guest Services know if you need help planning a safe experience.

• Food Central: Main Street’s family dining hub features gourmet burgers, foot‑long hot dogs, and hearty kids’ meals in comfortable undercover seating.
• Jane’s Rivertown Restaurant: Nestled in the new Rivertown zone, this jungle-themed Dreamworld restaurant serves hearty meals and features animatronic wildlife.
• Green Bean Coffee Co: Located on Main Street, this café serves Byron Bay coffee, fresh pastries, and light bites, ideal for a morning boost or afternoon treat.
